Astra Patient Information Management System


The Astra Patient Information Management System (APIMS) is a data management system that facilitates the processing of patient information.


  • Patient Module - handles online patient registration and appointments. It allows viewing of patient's basic information and health records.
    It also handles notifications when appointments are made.
  • Reception Module - handles patient queueing. It also provides functions for patient registration for walk-in clients. This module also allows viewing and searching of patient medical records.
  • Cashier Module - handles patient fees and tag patients as paid. It has the capability to generate billings to companies and generate reports of billing, paid, outstanding balance per client, etc.
  • Lab Module - handles integration/interfacing to laboratory equipments to generate job orders and pull results automatically from the machines.
  • Doctor's Module - provides the facility for doctors to review patient records, lab results and provide his/her diagnosis and findings.
  • Reports Module - provides the facility to generate reports and medical certificates.
